Ria & Leo's Engagement Session | San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Patient...

This is one of the first words I would use to describe Ria & Leo.  When we had first met Ria, she came alone to the initial client consult since Leo was stationed overseas in Iraq -  it would be another two and a half months until she saw him again after being separated for what almost felt like an eternity.

The whole time Marianne and I were speaking with her, I couldn't help but think about how it would be to be away from your loved one for over a year.  Just hearing how she spoke about him, and the look in her eyes, the love was very evident.  

Fast forward to this past February to their engagement session and this is when we meet Leo for the first time.  All we have to say is - he's PERFECT for her.  But of course, he's a keeper when one agrees to let your significant other to style you for a shoot, right down to the socks!

We loved Ria's styling for their engagement session - lots of bright colors - yellow, hot pink, and blue!

Ria & Leo were definitely silly during our session.  I think if I were her, I'd pull on his suspenders just to get a reaction too. lol

 We weren't kidding about the socks...it's all about the details!!!!!!  Talk about socks with swag!

During engagement sessions, we'll trail our couples and let them walk in front of us just to see if we can catch a spontaneous moment between the two and to see how they interact with each other when given a moment to themselves.

Ria & Leo - THANK YOU so much for braving the cold this day and for thinking "warm thoughts." LOL  We had an absolute blast during this session and we can't wait for your big day next month.  Oh, and we're so glad that you agreed to "the other thing" too ;)  See you soon!
