Looking forward to 2012

Happy New Year!!!!!!!  2011 has been CRAZY.  Never in a million years would we have ever thought we'd be professional photographers - and 2011 has proven that sometimes you have to be careful what you wish for, it may just come true, and come true in full force it did!

We've learned a LOT this past year - we made a lot of mistakes, went through the growing pains of a business, and learned to be not only a family as husband and wife, but as business partners (which is difficult to do).  We felt the pressure of our clients when photos didn't come on time, had to give up fantastic captures when it was slightly out of focus (I REALLY hate that), sacrificed time with our family and friends AND each other, but in the end, we pulled through.  As Marianne and I reflected on 2011, we've already planned several strategic moves for 2012 to not only improve Delumpa Photography for our clients, but most importantly, to improve our quality of life in terms of balance.

Thank you to our clients for believing in us to capture your special moments.  Thank you to our family and friends that have supported us and continue to support us through this journey.  Thank you to our fellow photographer friends who have offered their support and critique (and yes, we do welcome critique).
