Karen + Kevin Wedding | San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Karen & Kevin was our last wedding for 2011.  We couldn't be any happier with ending our wedding season with a great couple - very simple, sweet, elegant, and little bit of quirkiness!

They started out their day with a Chinese Tea Ceremony at her mother's place.  It was our first time capturing this type of ceremony, but also one of the reasons why we love to do what we do!  We get to experience things that some people don't, and it was a pleasure capturing these moments and experiencing this for the first time (and hopefully not the last!).

Here are some of the images captured on their big day.  Enjoy!

Jeff & Marianne

Just moments after they've embraced, all the cameras whipped out and started clicking away.  Karen & Kevin had mentioned at this point that they didn't know what to do.."we were just in the middle of the room and everyone just surrounded us!"  The look on Karen's face says it all:

After the tea ceremony, it was back to the Marriott in downtown San Francisco for Karen to change into her wedding dress before we did their portraits.

The impromptu "first look!"  LOVE.

We were at the right place, at the right time - the hotel staff saw us in the lobby and were gracious enough to ask us if we wanted to take some portraits at the top of the Marriott!!  For those of you that know us, this place has special meaning for Marianne and I - this is where I proposed to her.  To the Marriott staff, you guys ROCK!!  Thanks for the "15 minutes!"

Oh Kevin....
