Mason Family - Teasers - San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer

I've known Candice since high school. I remember sitting in Mr. Hicks' class and just cracking jokes and talking a lot of nonsense with her and our other classmates. Definitely fun times back in the day...

Sing along with me, if ya know this one..

"Back in the day, when I was young
I'm not a kid anymore,
But some days
I wish that I was a kid again..."

We had the opportunity to shoot Candice, her husband Danny, and her son Owen, at Armstrong Woods up in the cuts...Guerneville, CA (I apologize if you're from that area, but really, it is in the cuts lol).

Let me say this - family photography isn't a walk in the park, especially when you're dealing with kids. However, with Owen, he was like the model baby - cool, calm, collected, and smiled on queue! Candice calls him her Gerber baby!! And I agree, he definitely looks like the Gerber baby!

Enjoy the teasers!

Lorelei + Larry are Married!!!! - Teasers - San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Mares!!!

Lorelei & Larry had a beautiful outdoor wedding at The Grove in Las Vegas.  When some people think "Las Vegas weddings," they sometimes think of either a hotel on the strip or one of the infamous chapels.  However, the venue was about 30 minutes away from the strip, and being that both the bride and groom are private people, the intimate setting with close family and friends fit them perfectly.

Thanks for letting us be a part of your day!  Congratulations you two!!  Here's a preview of your wedding photos.

Enjoy!!

"Only You....." - Trisha + Dave are Engaged!!!

This wasn't an engagement session....

This was a live proposal!

Dave popped the big question to Trisha in front of close friends and family on March 26th.  When Marianne told me that Dave wanted to organize a surprise engagement party, I knew this was going to be special.

In a nutshell, the plan was for Dave to get everyone in their apartment while Trisha was taking a shower.  While she was in the shower, the decor went up and the apartment was prepped for the big moment.  It was funny to see everyone work so frantically to get all the decorations up!  With about 30 people crammed into an apartment trying to be quiet, it was definitely a challenge!

Here are just some of the photos from this very special occasion.  Thank you Dave for inviting us to be a part of this beautiful moment.  It was definitely lots of fun and a night I will never forget.  Congratulations you two!

Enjoy the photos!
Jeff

Going through a range of emotions...

All this while Trisha was taking a shower in the other room....CRAZY!!

When Trisha stepped out of the bedroom, she walked out to a crowd of her close friends and family, and of Dave singing "Only You."

Marili + Keo - Engagement Session Teasers - San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer

Marianne and I loved doing this shoot with Marili and Keo!  When we met them during our initial client consultation, we knew that we would have a lot of fun portraying their personalities and telling their story.  Here are the teasers from their engagement session.

Enjoy the photos!

Jeff & Marianne

They both love to ride their bikes!  We took a few shots at Sharon Park in Menlo Park.  Keo actually grew up in the area.

This is where they first met in front of Blue Chalk in Palo Alto.

Gizzel Maternity Portraits - Daly City, CA - San Francisco Bay Area Maternity Photographer

Gizzel is actually due in about 3 days, so it was a blast getting to capture these photos of her and her girl-to-be a few weeks ago.  During the whole session, she was busy kicking and moving around!  Talk about responding to the camera!

Here are just a few photos from the session.  Enjoy!

Jeff

Gizzel wanted to incorporate some photos of her kids into the session.  Even though it is a "maternity" session, some of our clients wish to include family members into the photos.  We like it because it tells the story of who our clients are, and the people that will welcome the newest addition to the family.  Here's a few:

Mitch was definitely a great sport watching over the kids while we took photos of Gizzel.  This next shot is one of my personal favorites.
