Olivia's Baptism - Sacramento, CA - Teasers Part I

Baptism is a sacred and cherished ceremony for Catholic parents and their child.  Marianne and I had the privilege of capturing this special event for Johanne and Hamlet and their beautiful baby girl, Olivia.  The ceremony took place at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament in Sacramento, CA.

Speight Family Portraits - Teaser - San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer

We had the opportunity to take the Speights' family portraits a few weeks ago.  The location was a nice park right around the corner where they lived.

Marianne and I are really close to this family, as we are the Godparents for RJ and Emery.  We had a great time taking their photos, especially Emery, who we were told "never looks into the camera."  Oh boy.  His facial expressions are.....priceless!

Wolford Triplets' Birthday Bo-nan-za

The Wolford's asked us to cover their triplets' 2nd birthday party at a place called the Backyard Factory in Martinez.  This place is like an indoor playground full of swings, slides, and trampolines.  The crazy thing about it, is that they actually sell the stuff that the kids play on (pretty darn ingenious, if ya ask me).  Hey, your kid likes to jump on the trampoline?  Take one home today.......lol

Team in Training - Revisiting the Cause

A couple of years ago, Marianne and I participated in the Team In Training (TNT) Hike team.  Back then, it was known as Hike for Discovery, a fundraising campaign by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to help raise money to fight blood cancers.  We can honestly say from day one of our journey, all the way to the hike event in Kauai, was an experience we would never forget and will always carry with us in our hearts.  We've met so many wonderful people and made new friends who we've shared a special connection with.  If you have the chance, check out TNT!  They have different activities that you can participate in other than hiking, like running, triathlons (if you're crazy), and biking.

A few weeks ago, I was invited to join the alumni hike event at Bon Tempe Lake in Marin.  I also took the opportunity to take a few photos of the event.  Here they are!  Enjoy!

Taking that first step!!!!

Hello everyone!  This is Jeff, and I am about to post our first ever blog for Delumpa Photography!!! (applause..no, really)

I often wonder how bloggers find time to blog about the things they talk about.  It's my hope that, by reading our blog through our journey into the most awesome profession in the world, that you'll grow with myself and Marianne.  Not that she can't get any taller...;)

Marianne will also post on this blog as well, so you'll see two different perspectives into what goes on not only in our business, but a unique glimpse into our personal lives as well.
