Emerson Family Session | San Francisco Bay Area Family Photographer

There's something about shooting families that gives Marianne and I a great big smile on our faces.  Whether it's the warm interactions between parents and kids, the undeniable joy in a kid's laugh, or winning over the two year old who'd rather run circles around you, there's a certain sense of gratification we get not only as photographers, but as people.  It might be that these are precious moments that will forever be immortalized in the images we capture, but I'd also like to believe that it has to do with Marianne and I and our desire to have a family of our own in the very near future.

With that being said, we were privileged to capture the Emerson family at Baker Beach!  Even though they traveled the long trek from the Sacramento area down to the Bay Area to make the shoot, the kids had an absolute blast.

Here are a few of their photos from their session this past May.  Enjoy!

Jeff & Marianne

If anything, Stephanie just wanted photos of Tatum & Cole, even if it was just one good one.  So Marianne and I made it a point to make sure we did, and boy, did we.  Gotta love Cole's smile in this one!

There's just something mischievous about Cole's look...LOVE it.

Tatum..such the older sister.

The whole time we did the session, Tatum would pose for us without any direction!  Stephanie had explained that Doug's sister was the influence behind Tatum's skill.  I wish I could keep her in my pocket to serve as a posing guide for our grown-up clients. :)

Tatum LOVES zombies.  We love zombies.  The result:  match made in photography heaven...see below!

Steph, thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to capture your beautiful family!  Definitely one of our favorite sessions of the year. :)

We'd love to hear from you, so please feel free to leave a comment!  You can even find us on facebook and see the ever-so-popular sneak peek album.  "Like" us to see them as they come!
