Cheryl & Chris' Wedding | San Francisco Bay Area Wedding Photographer

After we did their engagement session, we got a good idea of Cheryl & Chris' personality and it definitely showed through on their big day!  You'll see in this blog that they're pretty silly, as evident in their after-ceremony group photos.

Enjoy!

Ceremony:  West Portal Lutheran Church, San Francisco, CA
Reception:  King Wah Restaurant, Daly City, CA

We love it when couples take the time to personalize their wedding - in this case, Chris wore Nike basketball shoes instead of the normal, stiff, who-the-heck-wears these? dress shoes.  If you know Chris & Cheryl, they LOVE their basketball.

While I was shooting details during the bridal preparation, Cheryl's dad came up to me and asked a special request.  He left briefly, and came back with a thick album, which looked like a wedding album.  When he opened it up, it was HIS wedding album!  He flipped through and stopped to on a page of Cheryl's mom in her wedding dress.  He then had asked me if we could take a similar photo of Cheryl, as his other daughter did when she got married.  We were glad to oblige...I think we did pretty good..:)

Shaka!!!!!

Cheryl's sister had a bit of a performance for the newlywed couple.  Remember Vanilla Ice's "Ice Ice Baby?"  Yes, she rapped it, although with her own lyrics and some help with one of Cheryl's bridemaids.

TIP for brides:  Make your bouquet toss interesting...stuff a $100 bill in the bouquet, that'll get the single ladies motivated!!

Cheryl & Chris - we had a great time capturing your wedding day!  Your bridal party/groomsmen were awesome and were very helpful!!  Good luck to you both and we look forward to watching your growth as husband and wife.
